For the first time in ages, it has felt like the last month has actually dragged a little. Normally I feel like each month whizzes by so fast, but not this time. September turned out to a bit of a roller coaster of a month for us, one I won’t be forgetting any time soon that’s for sure, but sadly for all the wrong reasons. Although despite a bit of a rough start, it wasn’t all bad. Josh and I enjoyed a blissful child free weekend away, we celebrated a couple of family birthdays, we caught up with friends and Bella and I even spent a day in London with some blogger friends at a super fun event.
Of course my favourite thing about September was definitely the fact that the end of the month marked the official start of Autumn, my faaaavourite time of the year. I am already loving those crunchy leaves underfoot, the crisp Autumn air in the mornings and being able to wear my boots again makes my feet very happy indeed! We have lots of fun things planned for the next couple of months and I can’t wait to get stuck into our Autumn bucket list and start ticking things off.
Our September family photos were taken just down the road from us on a lovely Sunday afternoon stroll. I especially love the last photo, I think it might just become my new favourite. I really do feel so lucky to live where we do. The Sussex countryside is such a beautiful place and I can’t ever imagine leaving.
PS; Apologies that this post is going up a few days later than I had anticipated, this is due to some technical issues. Aka… super slow village internet and a MacBook that really has seen better days. It’s my birthday next month, hopefully BT may get the memo and sort their shit out 😉

I love taking part in the Me and Mine photo challenge. I wouldn’t get photos of us, if it wasn’t for this prompting me to take them.

Lovely photos. I admire people who are able to use a macbook. By the way it’s always hard to get the kids smiling. We managed the first time this month.
