I looked into signing up to Glossybox a while back and can’t remember exactly why I never actually signed up but when I received a discount code for 20% off my first box I decided to give it a whirl. I’m a huge beauty lover and always have been. Out of my group of friends I’m the only one that wears a full face of make up every day. I love trying new products and discovering brands I haven’t used before so a beauty box subscription is a perfect monthly treat for me.
For anyone who isn’t sure what exactly a Glossybox is, then this is what they say;
‘GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box that delivers 5 hand picked beauty samples to your door, wrapped in our signature pink box. We pride ourselves on being the ultimate luxury treat for beauty lovers.’
What appealed to me most about the Glossybox compared to other beauty boxes on the market is that a lot of the products you are sent are actually full sized which makes it fantastic value for money. The cost per box is £10 plus £3.25 postage and I worked out that the RRP value for the items in this box were £68.64. Amaaazing.
My first box arrived last month and it was ‘The Style Edition’ box. Firstly I was super impressed with how promptly it arrived and couldn’t wait to see which five products I had received. The packaging of the Glossybox is lovely, when you remove the lid, the contents is wrapped in tissue paper and tied shut with a ribbon which I think is a great touch.
I was really pleased with all of the items I received and I’m pretty confident I will use them all. This is what I received in my September Glossybox.
Nails Inc Nail Polish in ‘Uptown’ (Full Size) RRP £11.00
Maria Nila Luminous Colour Hair Masque (Full size) RRP £18.95
Bellapierre Shimmer Powder in ‘Whesek’ RRP £12.99
Marsk Eyeshadow Brush Pro RRP £16.70
Overall I’m very impressed with my first ever Glossybox and can’t wait to receive my next one!
